Nuclear Family

To begin with i started using search engines to determine what a nuclear family was like in the 1950's other that what i currently know as being the "Nuclear Family"

As part of my research i wanted to look at what was life like for the middle class white family in the USA at the time. I have also found that this period of time was known as the "innocent 50's".

A lot of my starting research has been visual, so i will be using a lot of image results and i have also used youtube to find videos about the way of life in the 1950's USA. I have even found videos such as these that give guidelines to dinner table etiquette, as a representation of the media of the time and the way that they used it to put ideals of family life into the countries families of the time.
